Delbert Buck,a self-taught Navajo Folk artist,has a Cowboy riding a Giraffe. This is not what one might see on the Reservation, but in Delbert's work, whimsical animals are the norm. Delbert is known for his portrayals of life on the Navajo Reservation. He lives near Shiprock, New Mexico. Some of his pieces are included in the permanent collection of Native American Art at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.
