Glen Nipshank calls pots in this series, "Storm Pots". The unique flashes on the surface are created by pit firing the local Micaceous clay. The resulting designs echo the storm clouds of New Mexico. Glen Nipshank is from the Big Stone Cree Nation in Canada.
