Jennifer Moquino has hand coiled and pit fired this Santa Clara black pot. Her pot teaming with summer life from around Santa Clara Pueblo. A Black Throated Hummingbird,a Mountain Chickadee, a Praying Mantis, a Rufus Hummingbird,and a Mormon Metalmark Butterfly are depicted in exquisite details.
The pot is stone polished to a high sheen , fired, and then is etched and natural slips are added for the beautiful colors. Jennifer is an award winning potter from Santa Clara.
