A majestic Eagle is the focal point of this wonderful pot. Kevin Naranjo has captured the essence of this Eagle in his rendering. Traditional representation of Eagle feathers form a band around the pot. Tricia Pena from San Ildefonso Pueblo, has hand coiled, stone polished and pit fired this elegant pot. Kevin Naranjo is an award winning potter from Santa Clara Pueblo. Among his awards are the 2006 Indian Market Best of Division. Native clays found near the Santa Clara area has been used. After firing, Kevin etches the pot to create these wonderful scenes.
