The Brown Buffalo is a respected animal in traditional Native lore. He gives his life so people could live. He is a Guardian spirit. The designs on the Buffalo is Lakota. He carries a ceremonial pipe fro thank the creator of all life. through the hunting relationship with the Buffalo one hoped to achieve bravery, fortitude, generosity and wisdom.
