Hand coiled native clay has been used to create this Fish Pot by Jennifer Tafoya Moquino. Jennifer has studied many varieties of fish found in the rivers and streams of New Mexico. This pot shows Rainbow trout and Brook trout found around her Pueblo. The pot is stone polished to a high sheen, pit fired, then is etched. Natural slips are added for the exquisite colors.
Jennifer is an award winning potter from Santa Clara Pueblo in New Mexico.
