Glen Nipshank is from the Big Stone Cree Nation in Canada. His pottery is very sculptural in design. The unique finish on his pieces is achieved by pit firing. The fire causes unexpected flashes of color and varigation that is most pleasing. Glen has won many awards, including Judges Award, Contemporary Pottery, at the 13th Annual Eiteljorg Museum Show in 2007. He is also in several Collections such as the Heard Museum's .
