Jennifer is the daughter of Ray and Emily Suazo Tafoya. She has been making pottery since the age of 6. Jennifer and her husband, Michael Moquino, have been working together since 1998. After they started to work together, she began etching animals on their miniature vases and seed pots. She and Mike gather minerals from local rocks to make the natural slips used on the pottery. Their work has won several awards at the annual Southwestern Association for Indian Arts, including "Best of Clasification" in 2004. Her pottery is increasingly sought after by Collectors. They live in Santa Clara Pueblo, New Mexico.
